Fluffed Cafe & Dessert Bar, Taman Paramount

I passby this shop one day and saw it under renovation. Thus, I decided to give it a try when it opens as it is also near my house. It is a small shop with limted seats. When it soft lauched at that time, I went to try it and it's awesome. It's like a great competitor to Owl's Cafe but not so many choices offered so maybe that's the weakness it has.

Anyway, it's time for desserts!! Ladies, please get your fork and knife ready =)
Hot Chocolate with Pooh Bear's Favourite
You have to be a little patient after ordering cause they make upon order so that the waffle is always hot and fluffy and crispy. It worth waiting for. My first try is the Pooh Bear's Favourite and I was amazed by the Hokey Pokey ice cream and the honeycomb. The ice cream is so creamy and the flavour is so rich. The honeycomb is so crispy and not to forget the main character here, the waffle. The waffle is really crispy at the outside but fluffy inside. Look at how the present the food. Delightful.

Big Grey Wolf
The second visit we ordered more. The Big Grey Wolf is special with the charcoal waffle. The earl grey ice cream is so Teh Tarik. hahahah..XD sorry. I'm anak Malaysia. It's a compliment of course. Who in Malaysia doesn't like teh tarik?

Alice In Wonderland
Hoping to meet Alice in the waffle? Try this. The lavender blueberry ice cream is special. I mean.. special. So I don't think everyone can accept the taste. At least not me. The taste is too 'fake' to me. hahaha..XD

The Monkey King
Chocolate always go best with banana! If you like both of them like me, order The Monkey King. Nothing really special about this but sometimes, normal thing taste the great. The banana is topped with crispy caramel though. So it would be crunchy at the outside but real banana inside.

Fluffed Cake
I don't remember the name of this cake but I remember they told me this is how they got their name 'Fluffed' but I'm not impressed by the cake. It's ok. Or maybe a little less than ok. Hmm... I don't like this anyway. Just not my slice of cake.

Bofe Eatery, SS2

When you're driving from Jalan University and turn right after the traffic light to ss2, you'll notice a shop name Bofe at your left near Mungo Jelly and Perodua shop. The shop is a very cozy place to rest your mind and take a sip of coffee. I went there a few times.

Look at the environment. you can choose to sit at the sofa area so that you can really relax during a weekend morning.

They serve limited choices of breakfast or so call brunch. I was there the first time with my brother and we ordered a super value meal. A breakfast set for 2 with juices, freshly squeezed juices.

BIG Breakfast

Starter
Yes! you're right. This is a set for 2! The muesli and bread come with the set as starter. And of course the big breakfast. If you're wondering is it too little for 2 person, give it a try. It's actually more than enough. The set comes with 2 glasses of orange juice.

Then I had my dinner here as well, twice. But there's a day unfortunately, I didn't know they have personal party going on in the shop, so that I have to sit at the corner but still enjoying my meal.

Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti
The sauce is actually salted egg. Just nice to go with the crispy soft shell crab. A little like japanese style or something.

Chocolate Cake
This is actually my dessert after meal. I wanna try their chocolate cake as I believe if a shop serve nice chocolate cake, the other cakes won't go bad.

Soft Shell Crab Burger
I tried this another day. The fries is so orangey is because it's sweet potato fries. More healthy comparing to normal fries. *trying to hypnotize myself it's healthy fried food. The shrimp is fresh, together with the soft shell crab, perfect seafood combination.

Piccolo Latte
Nothing much about the coffee here actually. Hmm...

Duck Breast
I don't remember the name of this dish but it's duck breast for sure. The mash potato is nice, really creamy. The duck breast is very tender but I don't really like this texture. It's like I'm eating mashmallow instead of meat. But the taste is actually fine.

Open Burger
Open burger is their signature I think. The patty is juicy and the portion is just nice for a guy because it's actually quite a big meat patty under the sausage. Personally, I like this.

Cappucino
Conclusion, the environment is good, food is fine and it's worthy the price. I think the price is more affordable compare to some other cafe. The good thing is, there's always parking available during weekends. =)

Chung Gong, Ampang

I'm a big fan of korean food. Kimchi, bibimbap, jjangmyeon and whatever jigae =9. You name it I eat it. haha..XD

It's like a must for korean food lover to try out the korean cuisine in Ampang Korean Vilage because it's the most authentic taste that you can get in Malaysia. So this time I try Chung Gong. I have read out some of the reviews and blogs before going of course and I found a lot of LIKES for this restaurant.

First, I have to be honestly telling, this restaurant doesn't seem to be too clean. It has that cockroaches or some kind of weird smell that you can smell it when you climbing up the stairs. So I thought it's a No-No for this restaurant. I still decided to give it a try because I'm really craving for nice jjangmyeon during that time.

The shop wasn't crowded at all when I entered but the sweet greet from the lady boss is defintely a yes to me. Anyway, I sat down and started looking at the menu. They don't service bibimbap or kimchi jigae here because they are chinese korean food restaurant. So do expect something like jjampong, tang su yuk and jjangbap.

So we ordered some signature dishes where you can see in korean drama.

Jjampong
I saw the korean aunty sitting beside the counter eating jjampong and it defintely looks attractive with the red soup. =9 I like spicyyyyyyyyy. So I ordered this. It's like... seafood spicy pan mee. hahah..XD but I like the noodles. Just nice, Al dente =) The soup is actually not so... my taste. But you can always add vinegar and chili powder into the soup.

Jjangmyeon
The jjangmyeon is niceeee. I really like the black bean paste. The best I have ever tried. You can finish the last drop of sauce with the yellow pickled radish. Just like what the korean did in the drama.

Szechuan jjangmyeon
This is the spicy version of the jjgangmyeon but without any black bean paste. If you like spicy and you don't like the original jjgangmyeon, give this a try.

Tang Su Yuk
Never miss this tang su yuk!!!! The batter is crispy but the meat is still tender inside. Going with the sauce, heaven. Really nice. NO LIES. Eat together with the cucumber and red cabbage in the dipping sauce, the cucumber is like a pickle actually. By the way, when i say dipping sauce, I don't mean dipping the meat in the sauce, I mean throw the whole fried meat in the sauce roll and roll the meat until it's fully covered with sauce. Finger licking good.

Fried Mandu
Last but not least, fried mandu. This is really cheap. It's like RM15 per plate. With that size, no complain but only like =) The filling is nice also. The waiter will prepare the dipping sauce for you on the spot by mixing vinegar with chili powder. Eat with the sauce or just the mandu. It's nice in both ways.

Conclusion is the food is worthy the price and taste real nice but the restaurant hygience really need a little improvement.
